The peaches tempted us to pick them but they're not ripe. Melissa Clark's book, Cook This Now, offered a great way to enjoy them now. Dress 3 to 4 thinly sliced small unripe peaches with 1 tsp. fresh lime (I used lemon) juice, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. black pepper, 4 tsp. olive oil. Sprinkle with 2 1/2 Tbsp. thin sliced fresh basil.
